The Musical Ma sical Magic of Mr.Tony Bari gic of Mr.Tony Bari
July 8, 2024 - News
Tony Bari is my husband, and it is with tremendous sadness that I post the following on his website. My wonderful husband passed away suddenly on a sunny, bright and Bermudaful day in June, 2024 after recently being diagnosed with cancer. Tony Bari is loved and remembered by me, his mother, his daughter, his son, and his family. Tony is also loved and remembered by all who ever met him.
Tony was a legendary and gifted pianist from Boston, Massachusetts. Tony worked in Las Vegas, New York and Miami traveling around the world twice as a musical director for various cruise lines before settling in Bermuda in 1984.
Tony was a professional pianist who performed as a soloist as well as with his band, The Tony Bari Trio. Additionally, Tony was an entertainer, vocalist, master of ceremonies and musical director. Tony was able to perform a wide variety of music from all eras. Tony Bari is fondly remembered by locals and tourists alike as "the pianist at the top of stairs at Trimingham's" on Front Street as well as the morning radio host heard on 1450 AM Gold.
Tony was also the resident organist at Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Somerset and Saint Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Warwick. https://www.romancatholicbermuda.bm
Tony was a beacon of joy, a brilliant pianist and entertainer who brought light into every room he entered. Tony's charisma was unmatched, captivating audiences and making friends effortlessly. Tony's laughter, kindness, and talent touched the lives of so many, leaving a legacy that will never be forgotten.
